Control Risks Embedded Consulting team is looking for a Business Continuity Analyst to help support a Fortune 100 client's corporate business continuity program focused on the Americas region. The analyst will be in charge of executing the business continuity plans as put together by the Head of Business Continuity and Business Continuity Regional Managers. This position will have a focus toward disaster recovery planning and testing. This position will require the candidate to be onsite 3 days a week in one of the following locations: Alexandria, VA, DC, NYC, Nashville, Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Austin, Houston, or Denver.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Executing the BC/DR strategy as developed by the Head of Corporate BC and Regional BC managers.
- Developing the policy, processes and framework for DR program
- Working with technology teams to document ITDR planning needs in Corporate Continuity tool to drive consistency and attestation.
- Facilitating BC/DR exercises and tests, to identify potential gaps in plans, as well as functionality of work transference processes supporting recovery.
- Working with large amounts of data to create meaningful reports and program KPIs.
- Developing communications in support of the BC/DR programs.
- Conducting training on program, tools, and methodology.
- Supporting ISO 22301 initiatives.
- Liaise with support teams to implement the program.
- Support BC global program initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements - 4+ years' experience implementing and managing disaster recovery and business continuity management programs
- Ability to travel across assigned regions and internationally as needed.
- Experience with commercial Business Continuity tools
- Experience with cloud resilience
- Experience managing and analyzing data from various sources to align to strategic goals
- Experience in responding to significant disruptive events.
- Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people, and technology challenges in order to identify risks and opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple complex projects.
- Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII), Business Continuity Institute (BCI), or other business continuity professional certification a plus
The base salary range for this position in California or NYC is $90,000-$105,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per California SB 1162 and the NYC Wage Transparency Law.
