Hint, one of the fastest-growing beverage brands in the US, is seeking a Director of Revenue Growth Management to join our Financial, Planning & Analysis team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about driving profitable growth through pricing and promotional strategy and who has relevant experience executing a strategic roadmap that advises the business both today and into the future.

Reporting directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis, this person understands consumer-focused pricing strategies and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth across our product lines, based on clear channel pricing and value-based methodologies.

The Director of Revenue Growth Management acts as a key partner, driver, and influencer directly with our field sales teams to help drive sales growth through the strategic development and execution of promotional plans, while supporting overall corporate brand strategy.

This role requires a strong critical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building cross-functional relationships. The role will focus on solving business problems through data analysis and a strong understanding of our internal business strategy. Building the appropriate organizational structure using internal and 3rd party resources, and creating the data & tools needed to set the business up for success will be additional key deliverables for this role.

This person will have one direct report.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for setting Hints pricing and promotional strategy by product type, pack type, sales channel, and customer on an annual basis and adjusting throughout the year, as needed.
  • Implement pricing strategies and revenue models to identify and prioritize customer, category, and brand opportunities to optimize trade ROI, margin, mix, and price realization.
  • Develop scenarios and specific recommendations to execute trade savings targets and optimize trade promotion guidelines.
  • Perform assessments of pricing actions to understand price elasticity.
  • Lead analysis of trade promotion events to uncover opportunities for improved ROI.
  • Responsible for planning, tracking, executing, reviewing, and adjusting promotional customer strategies. The successful individual will need to track, influence, and make recommendations and adjustments to further enhance our business results.
  • Subject matter expert on optimal trade strategy based on our customer's go-to-market strategy.
  • Assists in the customer-level annual planning and quarterly re-forecasting processes.
  • Management of the Sales Analytics Manager, responsible for all internal sales tracking, syndicated data reporting & analytics, and promotional analysis.

Requirements

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex sets of data and make business recommendations based on analysis
  • Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management and effective communication across all levels of an organization
  • Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks and removing obstacles
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity both the role and the company itself are newly formed and therefore the successful candidate will need to be able to thrive in a fast-changing and yet-to-be-defined environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with internal and external personnel (customers and distributors)


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree required in Business, Finance or Mathematics
  • 3-5 years of experience with Revenue Management within the CPG space
  • Knowledge/experience of financials (P&L) especially key revenue drivers
  • Experience working with price elasticity analysis
  • Ability to use data-driven insights to influence cross-functional business partners
  • Experience implementing projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks to deliver against tight deadlines
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and serving many partners in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong negotiation skills to manage external and internal stakeholders

Benefits

  • Base salary of $130,000-150,000, based on territory and experience. Actual salary offer may vary based on location and work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
