Nail Technician

We are looking to hire a detail-orientated nail technician to provide clients with high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments at our Luxury Nail Spa in Millbrook, NY. Additional responsibilities include welcoming and greeting clients, and answering clients nail-related questions. You should also be able to build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat nail appointments.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides individualized nail services and treatments that exceeds clients needs and expectations
• Provides various nail care services, including natural nail manicures, pedicures and paraffin's
• Promotes and sells nail products, services and treatments and encourages repeat business
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry

PayOpen for discussion: Can be commissioned based, nail station rental, commission and hourly.

Requirements

• Must currently hold and maintain NY state Nail Technician license

• Must have a basic knowledge of massage techniques of hands and feet. Products used area Dazzle Dry Nail polish, Gel, and acrylic in addition to regular nail polish.

• Provide high-quality manicures and pedicures, which includes removing old nail polish from fingernails and toenails, cleaning nails, shaping the ends of nails, pushing back cuticles, and applying new polish based on client preferences.
• Evaluate the condition of client nails and advise clients on proper nail care and suitable nail care treatments.
• Sanitize all nail instruments, equipment and work stations before each use.
