Job Description: Bachelor Degree in Computer or related field of study
5+ years experience working in UNIX or LINUX environment
Experience with software development methodologies: Agile, Kanban, Scrum, DevOps
1+ years experience with bash scripting or python
2+ years experience in security related field and scanning
Candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, be customer oriented, positive, flexible, detail oriented, and a strong team player
Familiar with systems administration via Ansible playbooks and PXE, Linux OS Oracle 7/8
Network infrastructure administration familiarity (juniper preferred)
Troubleshooting of complex systems
Knowledge of security documentation, how to investigate security incidents and evaluate mitigations
Preferred, but not required, CISSP, CEH or Security+ certifications

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
