Our partner is seeking a Janitor located in Bedford Park, IL. The Janitor will be responsible for keeping the building clean and orderly.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and supply designated building areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, and restroom cleaning
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Pick up garbage from aisles, empty boxes
• Pick up stretch wrap from aisles
• Sweep dock and aisles
• Clean cafeteria after night shift lunch
• Grab empty pallets from aisles and stack them in the appropriate place
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Proven working experience as a Janitor
• Ability to operate forklift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
