Ultimate Care NY, a leader in the home health care services industry, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled insurance and rates negotiator to join our team. This individual will work closely with the operations and finance teams to ensure our patients receive the most appropriate and cost-effective insurance coverage possible. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping patients navigate the complicated world of health insurance and will be committed to putting our patients first.

Responsibilities

• Research and review insurance coverage options for patients
• Negotiate with insurance companies to obtain favorable rates and coverage
• Assess the financial feasibility of different insurance options for patients
• Communicate with patients and their families regarding insurance coverage and options
• Collaborate with doctors and other medical professionals to ensure the best insurance coverage for patients
• Act as a liaison between patients, insurance companies, and medical providers
• Review billing codes and claims to ensure accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare insurance negotiation
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare insurance policies and regulations
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare management software
