Who are we?

Clayton Farms is seeking a Farm Production Team Member to join our Edina, MN location. We are a direct-to-consumer indoor farm located in the Twin Cities Metro area. We position our indoor hydroponic farms in the same neighborhoods we serve; allowing us to harvest fresh produce and provide same day delivery directly to our customers all year long. As a member of the Farm Production Team, you will help to ensure that the produce grown is of THE highest quality and is delivered to our customers in a timely manner. Individuals will receive on the job training by the Clayton Farms team to perform the tasks necessary to fulfill this role.

Position Description

The Farm Production Team Member's responsibilities include seeding, transplanting, harvesting/packaging, and delivery of our fresh greens. The ideal candidate is a production-driven individual, with high attention to detail and good communication skills. A general knowledge of plant science and plant nutrition is not required, but does receive priority in consideration. The ability to work on your feet for several hours at a time; and frequently work at height levels exceeding 3 feet, while reaching above shoulders and bending below waist is also required.

Responsibilities

In addition to the responsibilities highlighted above in our position description, further responsibilities include:

• Operate and maintain indoor-hydroponic farming equipment
• Monitor and adjust environmental conditions including temperature, humidity and light levels
• Maintain records of crop yields, climate data, and other information
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality produce

The position is designed as a full time position (at least 40 hours per week), but we would consider candidates that are looking for a part time position.
