We are excited to be searching for a talented and experienced HR professional to join our team. In this role, you will be a key member of our HR team, working closely with business leaders and their teams to provide strategic HR support and guidance. You will be responsible for driving HR initiatives and programs that align with our business objectives, and for fostering a positive and supportive community for all of our team members.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are met, focusing on organizational design, change and talent management
• Coach, guide and support Hello Sunshine managers and the broader team through workforce planning initiatives, performance management, employee engagement and career development.
• Lead New Hire Orientation to ensure new employees are welcomed, setup for success and well-acclimated into the company culture
• Coordinating with HR partners in Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers and Finance to pro-actively address growing company needs and ways to harness talent pools and employee network
• Analyze survey results across the company, brief leaders and create comprehensive plans to execute against to retain talent and keep team members engaged.
• Develop and support internal programs including, mentorship, engagement, speaking events, and career development workshops
• Support the growth of newer managers by partnering with them on how to set up 1:1s, performance reviews, and growth conversations
• Partner with our mentors for our early career summer program, develop on-going relationships with our interns and support them in the next phase of their career
• Maintain team organizational charts, detailed job descriptions and RACIs by team
• Support the benefits administration process and support your teams needs should questions arise

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in HR, preferably in an HRBP or Generalist role
• Demonstrated success in an HR function at a high growth company.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in directing key areas of the employee lifecycle within the context of an entertainment, media and direct-to-consumer business groups including benefits, performance reviews, organizational development, employee engagement, health and safety, legal compliance, and workforce planning.
• You have a demonstrated track record of helping to lead, guide and influence employee-related decisions
• You are an excellent people manager, coach and partner. You know how to help leaders work through issues and drive change in their organizations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, judgement and decision making
• Strong organizational leadership skills, integrity, and great follow through on tasks
• Innovative, extremely creative, and constantly looking for ways to improve upon things
