We are looking for a Director of Product Management to develop long-term product roadmaps, direct product development and ensure a high return on investment (ROI.) Youll develop strategies and research markets and direct product development from start to finish. To succeed in this role, you should be a perceptive, creative leader and reliable problem-solver. If youre also confident and have a knack for knowing what ideas will and wont work, wed like to meet you. This position is based in our Jessup, Maryland location with a hybrid schedule, requiring at least two days in office per week.
Responsibilities - Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company vision
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products
- Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps
- Lead product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Produce and review product requirements documents (PRD)
- Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
- Make creative recommendations to expand the product base and vision
- Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users
Requirements - 10 or more years of proven experience as a Product Manager or a similar role
- Experience planning and strategizing product lifecycle management for a catalogue of industrial products
- Background in engineering, applications, power electronics, renewable energy and program management is preferred
- Familiarity with Agile framework and project management
- Experienced leading teams
- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate across functional teams and execute product launch
- Problem-solving aptitude - recognizes areas for opportunity and brings solutions to the table
- Experience in power electronics, photovoltaics and IT/Comm is preferred
- MBA or MS preferred
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required
