Resource Innovations is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team in Boston, MA preferably, but will consider candidates from outside of the Boston area as well. As a Data Analyst, you will think strategically and apply your skills in project management, business analysis, data visualization, change management, troubleshooting and training to implement impactful and efficient business processes and applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains reports and dashboards, identifies enhancements, tracks and promotes usage across various teams
• Performs database queries and program data analysis as requested
• Extracts insights from data and provides recommendations to team leaders and managers
• Identifies process deficiencies and develops and implements solutions for cross-functional teams
• Works on process automation projects
• Performs a variety of quality control checks to maintain and ensure accuracy and consistency of data in tracking systems
• Gathers user requirements and prioritizes deliverables
• Writes user manuals, trains users, and provides technical support on reporting tools
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+years of experience preferably working as a data analyst or data scientist
• Bachelors degree is required preferably in an analytical discipline, such as engineering and Data Science
• Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools, such as Tableau
• Demonstrated ability to learn and grasp technical knowledge about software tools and deliverables
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deliverables, while remaining flexible
• The successful candidate should also have excellent written and oral communication skills, and is able to translate complex concepts concisely

• Most importantly, this individual should display a positive, team-oriented attitude to match our friendly work environment

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

• Experience working with programming languages such as Python or NodeJS
• Experience working with Power Query and VBA
