We are in search of a Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Analyst who will play a key role in ensuring the development, implementation and maintenance of our business continuity and disaster recovery plans for a Fortune 50 client of ours. Responsibilities - Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans that enable the continued operation of critical business processes in the event of a disruptive incident
- Design, conduct and evaluate regular tests and drills of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and assess risks to business operations and infrastructure, and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide expertise on crisis management and support the creation of crisis management plans
- Define and maintain critical success factors, key performance indicators and metrics for business continuity and incident management
- Provide guidance to business units on maintaining their individual business continuity plans to complement the organization-wide plan
- Analyze and report on business continuity and disaster recovery incidents to identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements - Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of business continuity and disaster recovery experience in a complex enterprise environment
- Solid understanding of business continuity methodologies and standards, including ISO 22301, DRII or BCI
- Experience in designing, executing and evaluating emergency response and business continuity exercises and simulations
- In-depth understanding of incident management processes and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on a team and independently
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking.

- The base salary range for this position in Washington is $90000-$105000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
