This position will have a hands-on role in deploying and sustaining the systems and applications directly utilized by our end users working closely with employees to support their technology needs. Collaboration with talented and driven technology professionals will be necessary to deliver solutions built primarily on the Microsoft technologies.Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of progressive technical support experience supporting key senior employees. The candidate should possess educational and personal achievement along with a passion for technology, an interest in the application of technology to support an investment management environment is a must. Providing excellent customer support and quickly learning new technologies will be necessary in this position. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, personable, have exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and an unrelenting drive to implement effective solutions.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree, preferably in Management Information Systems or Computer SciencesProgressive work experience providing IT supporting and implementing end user systems in an enterprise environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Operating Systems, and cyber securityExperience supporting VOIP and SIP video conferencing technologiesExperience supporting MDM/MAM solutionsAvailability for night and weekend on-call work as well as light travelKnowledge of desktop and server hardware, including performance optimizationFundamental knowledge of IP networking, routing, and system securityInstall, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and management toolsExperience utilizing PowerShell in management of systemsExcellent written and verbal communications skills and strong customer service experienceExperience supporting Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange, and DomainsProven technical documentation skillsInsatiable level of technical curiosityMust be physically able to lift and carry computers and other related equipment of up to 50 lbs Beneficial Skills and InterestsProgramming and scripting languages such as PythonKnowledge/support Unix/Linux/Docker especially RHEL and CentOSKnowledge of the Securities and Trading industryKnowledge of coding best-practices and version controlKnowledge of configuration management systems and automation technologies such as AnsibleExposure to JIRA and Confluence or similar suites or ticketing systemsExperience managing projects including milestones and target completion datesImaging solutions such as Windows Deployment Services and System Center Configuration ManagerExposure to Ansible, Chef, PuppetSoftware management including repackaging, scripted installations, and deploymentLeading technical training, both one-on-one and in group sessionsMCP/MCSE/CCNA or equivalent a plusSuccess FactorsExperience in high pressure environmentsAbility to coach and mentor early career engineersPassion for technology and desire to stay informed of the latest trends and best practicesStrong verbal and written communication skillsManagement of high touch requests from C-Level executivesProven troubleshooting methodology and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage an active task list and consistently meet deadlinesThe US range for this contract position is $20 - $45 per hour.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
