JOB SCOPE:

The service desk is responsible for identifying and pursuing service improvement initiatives; managing complaints, suggestions, and compliments; and, perhaps most importantly, often service as the face, or voice, of the organization to customers. A strong, healthy service desk team is consistent; committed to quality and regular quality improvements

Job Description

  1. Provide first level support for customer and system incidents and requests using basic technical and service knowledge
  2. Assist in assuming initial ownership for the coordination, investigation and documentation of customer and system incidents
  3. Assist in interpreting problems or errors at a basic level and help in the assessment of risks of events and escalating appropriately to protect client services
  4. Ensure proper documentation for all problems, incidents and requests
  5. Demonstrate good understanding of the customer's business needs and applying them to the management of system events & incidents
