Responsibilities:

• Evaluating mental health needs of patients.
• Developing treatment plans.
• Providing psychotherapy services.
• Providing personal care.
• Coordinating with families, doctors, and other health professionals.
• Administering medications.
• Responsible for direct care of a set of patients, facilitating their recovery through social interaction and traditional therapies.
• Provide care to individuals who have acute and chronic mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, depression, dementia or psychoses

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in Psych setting strongly preferred, but combination of education, other experience and specialty training may be considered.
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with electronic medical record preferred.
• CA RN license required, current BLS certification required (AHA approved)
