Position Description
Candidate will work with design engineers to achieve system-level performance goals for UAS ground control computing systems. Responsibilities will include developing and documenting system requirements, developing system architecture, capturing design features, analyzing gaps in design vs. performance, creating test / verification plans, and assisting with test execution. Candidate must be highly organized with a strong technical background in computing hardware, software, and networking development and integration. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills will be essential for the team environment.

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, and must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area. Candidate must be able to obtain a classified security clearance. Candidate must possess at minimum a Bachelors degree in engineering or science, and 5 years of applicable experience.

Other Qualifications
Background must be strong in systems engineering, including solid experience in the definition, design, and integration phases. Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) / Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) is highly desirable. Experience with a DO-178B/DO-254 certification a plus. Experience with Human Factors development, testing and techniques a plus. Experience in web-based services and US Army fielded networks a plus.

Security Requirements
Candidate must be able to obtain a classified security clearance.
