Position Description
This position will perform testing in a Government lab related to IP networking, Quality of Service (QoS), and interoperability in Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) air and ground systems. This will involve test planning, test set-up and performance, and documenting results. The work will require use of both theoretical and hands-on knowledge. Candidates must have good decision-making skills and the ability to correctly diagnosing and debug equipment and configuration problems. Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications
This position will require at least a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline with at least 5 years experience. Candidates must have demonstrated understanding in IP networking, including IPv4 addressing and subnetting, routing and switching, Quality of Service (QoS) architectures and mechanisms, TCP/UDP, VLANs, NAT, and networking devices and vendors. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and residents of the Huntsville area (or willing to relocate).
Other Qualifications A background in DoD work is preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, and have good written and oral communication skills. Experience and demonstrated skill in any of the following areas is also a plus: RF Data Links, IPv6, Software Development.

Security Requirements
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicants with a Secret clearance desired.
