This Product Development Analyst position in Personal Lines Product R&D will be part of a team responsible for the development of insurance products, researching new ideas to improve our product offerings, conducting project work, and performing ad hoc analyses. Primary responsibilities include: researching new product features designed to attract new prospects and/or retain more of our existing customers, performing pricing and cost benefit analysis to support the development of new product features and working with various organizations including Customer Relationship Management, IT and Field Marketing organizations to implement new product features. Additional responsibilities include: researching new ideas to improve the pricing accuracy of our product, evaluating the effect of current product features on customer retention, and performing ad hoc analyses. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree necessary, advanced degree preferred, with an emphasis in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or other quantitative fields. - 3 to 5 years related work experience in an analytical capacity. - Related product development and business experience required. - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Strong project management skills. - Solid critical thinking and problem resolution skills. - SAS and SQL programming required, basic to intermediate skills preferred.
