Description
Delivers and influences the strategy that senior management develops. Manages headcount, capacity, end to end controls but not budget. Responsible for retaining and developing talent. Subject matter expert with the ability to get into the detail of the process if needed. Deep understanding of product set and relevant mathematical background. Excellent quantitative/problem solving skills and deal with multiple tasks. Manages a team, may not manage multiple teams. Deals with hiring and performance management decisions. BA preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Typically 7-10 years of applicable experience.
Responsible for overseeing the daily production of PnL and Risk for the Muni Derivatives Desk. Trouble shoot exceptions and follow up with Front Office, Finance, BO & technology for resolution.
Will be heavily involved with BAC / Merrill transition projects. Transition projects include but no limited to Risk Transfer, Trade Novations and migrating to PnL DB. Will be responsible for developing & implementing new procedures to increase controls & efficiencies.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
-7 to 10 years experience in Interest Rate Derivatives industry.
- Understands the End to End controls for the support of Interest Rates Derivatives
- Strong understanding of the PnL production.
- Strong understanding of the greeks
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Municipal Markets, particularly TOB programs or other structured products.
Strong MS Excel experience
