E-BUSINESS MANAGER – Solon, Ohio

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing high level vision and leadership for the definition and creation of multiple online products and services. In short, this position plays a critical business role in driving the creation, enhancement, and overall product sales for MP Biomedicals, LLC web based business.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
•Identifies and provides leadership and vision for the overall direction, planning creation and deliver of online products sales, design and services.
•Manages initiatives focused on customer adoption, utilization, cost reduction, sales and revenue generation.
•Works with teammates and business partners to define the strategy for leveraging the online channel to increase sales and to fulfill other business goals.
•Works with e-Business team to prioritize business requirements to develop the project scope.
•Ensures compliance with product development process guidelines by contributing to and overseeing the successful implementation of all non-IT phases of the process (business objectives definition, business requirements, user acceptance testing, etc.).
•Contributes to the yearly product development planning process; contributes to the ongoing improvement of the product development process and sales.
•Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILL/ABILITIES:
•BA in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience; MBA highly desirable.
•A minimum 5 years experience in an online business product management role or related capacity. Previous molecular biology, chemical or biochemical/science industry background A MUST!
• Must have track record of successful online product sales, design, management and development.
•Prior web based project management and design experience, with proven results (i.e. increase in sales) required.
•PC literacy required; Must have experience with the following:
oCreative Suite (Dream weaver, InDesign, Illustrator, Photo shop), Flash and HTML.
•Experience in the following not required, but preferred:
oPHP / MYSQL AJAX, Knowledge of DB2, XML / CSS, OsCommerce, Content Management Systems.
