Click Here to Apply Onlinelooking to hire a highly motivated experienced cross-platform developer in New York City. You will work with a team of developers in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in design, analysis, and development of our high performance market data distribution infrastructure in both US Domestic and International Markets.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications
* Expert level of knowledge of C in a mixed language development environment.
* 6 years of object-oriented design and development experience with strong knowledge of design patterns.
* In depth knowledge of multithreading, exception handling, and Win32 internals.
* In depth knowledge of Networking, WinSock2 and TCP/IP
* Experience in design and implementation of low latency and high throughput messaging systems
* Hands on experience in server side programming in C on a Win32 platform is highly desired.
* Knowledge of C template and STL is also required.
* Prior experience in US equities trading environment is highly desired, but we are willing to train someone with the appropriate technical background.
* C# programming is a plus
* Java programming a plus.
* Microsoft SQL Server experience is a plus
* Prior experience in US options/futures trading environment as well as prior experience in UK/Asia markets is a plus.
* Needs to be able to excel in a rapid paced environment where requirements and priorities change continuously.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills.
